Irish Kennel Club - do they have an Irish 'Crufts'?

Just wondering whether or not there is any type of big-ish dog show run on a yearly basis in Ireland? Obviously nowhere near as huge as the Crufts on in the UK, but that sort of a style of a show?

Ideal thing would be more like the 'discover dogs exhibition' held in London each November where you can get to meet with the owners and the dogs and ask any questions you may have.

I've looked at the Irish Kennel club's website but it doesn't seem to be updated regularly.

Any pointers (German or otherwise ) would be greatly appreciated!

There used to be a big dog show (I mean the show was big not necessarily the dogs!) on Paddy's Day but I don't know if that is still a regular feature in the doggy calendar.

Sorry - should have said. In the RDS.

They are now held at the event centre just outside of Dublin Airport, beside the Coachman's Inn.
