Irish Hotels not responding to emails.

Actually, multiply it by 5. There will be bound to be someone off cashing their cheque for half a day and someone else on their Christmas/Easter/Halloween shopping leave. I read all about it in the Sindo every week.

We're upto 16 now...we'll have unemployment under 10% by tomorrow!!
 
There are some people who don't use e-mail so people will be required to deal with phone queries as well. Obviously, this is not part of those 16 employees T&C's so we will have to hire another 16 people to deal with these. Unless of course we make a once off payment to compensate for the damage caused to one's hearing from the ringing phone.
 

Good point. We'll should also employ someone for Elf & Safety...
 
Maybe the hotels have worked out that it's cheaper to ignore these emails than to employ someone to answer them.
They might also be qualifying their customers.
