Ipods and Video

Silly question possibly but can a DVD be transferred onto an iPod. It has video capability but I am not sure what this can do. Would be very handy for the bus into work (if the battery could last)

yes,you can transfer video to ipod,however most dvds are protected.As long as you own the dvd you can make a copy but I am not 100 % sure of this.there is software available that converts it to a format that the ipod can play.barring all this,there is great selection of tv progs available on apple site.

You'll find a number of programs listed here, although I can't say I've used any of them.

I prefer a bigger screen!

I would recomend Videora iPod Converter, but I havent used it for converting from a dvd.
