Hi all,

I'm looking to buy Speakers for a 30G iPod.

The important thing is that they are portable,
and I can use both battery and power supply.
Size isnt important (tee hee..)
Want to spend about €100.

I've seen these ones on-line, has anyone got these?
Any ones to stay away from?

- Logitech MM50 Portable Speakers for iPod
- JBL Onstage Ipod Dock + Speaker System €199.99
(i really like the look of this one, but its a little dear)
- Altec Lansing IM11 Portable Speakers for Ipod

Thanks,
Carter

Yep I got them at christmas and they are really good. Very light as well. The sound of them is brilliant and u get a tiny remote control which is very handy. I ordered them from the apple website and they were delivered within 2 days - this was the week before christmas so I was really impressed.

thanks for the reply parkviewbuye
i have already ordered the JBL OnStage II ones from the Apple site too for 149€. Hope they work out ok.
I'll post a review of them when we've tested them out.
Thanks

Hope they work out.

If you were less interested in portability and more interested in sound quality (and had more money to spend) then I would recommend the Bose SoundDock. Only disadvantage is it only has a dock connector, no jack for connecting other MP3 players, and does not have a radio.

There are some good reviews of iPod speakers on CNET and [broken link removed].
