ipod shuffle,nano or classic?

Just wondering which of these you'd recommend for somene looking for something like this basic (i.e. not necessary to be really fancy or anything) but decent storage space but nothing extraordinary,

Depends what your looking for,but after much research my 18 yr.old daughter has finally decided the nano ( IPOD NANO 8G PERS 3RD GEN RED-ZOO) is the best for her.She opted for the 8g, holds 2000 songs and some video.
I just bought it online tonight from the apple site costs €199 plus free delivery and free engraving if bought before midnight .

Sunday Business Post last Sunday 9 Dec just did a comparison of about 8 well known models of MP3 players incl all the i Pod version, it may also help.

I think it depends if you are looking for something compact or something to hold all of your music collection
I went for the 80gb classic and a speaker station for playing around the house.
