I want to buy an iphone as a xmas gift for my sister. And have seen on a website www.dhgate.com ...that they are being sold for approx. 180€.

Question is would it be compatible for using it over here ? and does anyone have experience of getting an iphone from abrod ?

Those prices sound too good to be true, guessing they are imitation iphones (all iphones are made in china btw) One of them says WPhone on the back not iPhone. Kiss your money goodbye I reckon.

I got mine on ebay from Italy, where they are sold sim free. play.com are now selling them sim free but think around €650 for 8gig

A quick google shows they appear to sell fake goods.
