The app I use is tunein radio.

The apps on the iphone for radio are rubbish - at least the above one is anyway.
In theory it's great in that you can access all these stations around the world which in fairness are very easy to navigate to.
However - it is very slow to start off a radio station. and when you do it often loses connection.
And it also takes too lomg to go from one station to another wherby you just don't bother as a result.
I think it's one of these things whereby its too fancy for its own good.
The bottom line is 99% of the time people will in all likelihood just use their local radio stations.It's absolutely beyond me why apple refuse to just put in a normal radio device on their iphones like other normal phones have.
