Investment Trusts & Dividends

I am interested in buying shares in investmest trusts, as gains on these can be offset for tax purposes against losses on irish bank shares. However, I do not wish to receive dividends or have dividends reinvested as I understand that these are taxable at my marginal rate of tax.

Is it possible to buy investment trusts that do not offer any dividend but just offer capital growth only? If so, do these class of share have a particular name?

I assume that dividends that are reinvested are the the same as dividends that are distributed for tax purposes?
