I'm looking to invest a smallish sum for the long term (and possibly future savings). I was looking into ETFs but it seems that the tax reporting would be a bit of a headache. Is there any option that won't require me to file a Form 11?
More suitable to small amounts of money. Life company look after all the tax for you so you don't have to do anything. Index funds available with most providers too.
