Hi All,
I’m considering Investing at the minute and we are looking for a property that we can perhaps let out and maybe use ourselves for a holiday in the summer time. We have been considering Florida and Tenerife. I would like to know what affect a possible bailout to Spain would have on a Tenerife Property or its price and what affect the USA Credit rating downgrade is likely to have on a Florida property if any ?
Iv been told that Property in Florida is currently at very reasonable prices. I had a look at Daft and a few other sites and cant believe how low some prices are. Is there any Irish companies who specialise or offer good advice on Florida property ect as I am not familiar with Florida at all. I intend to take a trip there after xmas and get a feel for the place but would like to have some info at hand before I go there i.e. Popular resorts, Locations, Estate Agents, Tax Laws ect.
On the other hand, I’m also considering Tenerife, We have been holidaying there for 7 or 8 years and we absolutely love the Island. We would have more knowledge of the Tenerife, Resorts, locations, some Estate Agents ect. We wouldn’t really have a clue regarding Tax laws and property charges ect which is obviously something we would need help with.
The problem with Tenerife is that property still seems to be Very Very Expensive compared to Florida but it might be a safer Investment?
Does anyone have any advice regarding either option, Tax Laws, Property Tax ect?
And again, I would like to know what affect a possible bailout to Spain would have on a Tenerife Property or its price and what affect the USA Credit rating downgrade is likely to have on a Florida property if any ?
