Does anyone know of any funds investing in India that don't charge extortionate fees?

The ones Ive seen are all in the 4-5% range which are a rip off.

This is one for us long term investors out there. A regular monthly payment into an India fund for the next 20 years could make one very rich.

Eagle Star savings plan investing in their India Equity fund, which itself aims to track the performance of the MSCI India Index by investing in an ETF.

We have a version of this plan with 100% allocation, no bid/offer spread, no policy fee, 1.5% annual management charge, 1% if you start with a lump sum of €7,500 or more, early exit penalties in the first 5 years.

This is a very good Indian forum about investing. I am sure you'll find answers to your questions there.

rabobank have indian funds. Its free entry for the year and i think .75% on exit.

You can also spreadbet on the index too instead.
