Investing in an unlisted company?

Hi there,

Can anyone suggest where I might get financial advice on investing in an unlisted company? I am considering converting share options into shares which have a hope value in the event the company is listed on the stock exchange in the future or is bought out by another company. Not sure where to begin looking for advice on whether or not it's a good move - are there financial advisors out there that specialise in this kind of advice?
