Irish Nationwide are offering a fixed term 6% AER over 6, 9 and 12 months. I'm trying to decide between investing €20,000 for 9 or 12 months.
Could somebody tell me if my calculations are right?
12 months (20000 x 6%)= 1200 and deduct 20% DIRT off (1200-240) = 960
For 9 months would you have 3/4 of 960 (720)?
