Invested in EIIS but moving country (EU)

Hello,

I am investing in EIIS since 2015. For most of the funds I have received full tax incentives (40%) already. As of today, all of the funds have at least some money invested, waiting for exit criteria.

If I move country, how would this affect taxes and profits? Say if I am no longer tax resident in Ireland, do I keep any tax incentive that I have received so far? Is it correct that I would need to declare any profits made on investments in the new country (Italy)? Here I would pay Capital Gain, which I think I would now have to pay in Italy. Is my arguably very naive understanding correct, or do I miss something?
