My uncle aged 63 [born1956] receives Invalidity Pension.
We reckon that he will never return to work.
He looks likely to qualify for the State pension in time on the basis of PRSI payments and credits.
Q1. At what age will he become entitled to the contributory State pension ?
Q2. Does the Invalidity pension stop when State pension starts ?
Q3. Does he have to make a specific application for the State pension or does the Invalidity pension roll over automatically ?
