Intruder Alarm grants for elderly?

Hello
Has anyone heard of a scheme for the elderly to secure funding to pay/partially pay for the installation of an intruder alarm?
It is for the Dublin area for an elderly woman (my neighbour) who was broken into recently and was advised to install an intruder alarm.
I know there are/were schemes in rural areas.

There was a grant funding for personal alarms which would call a list of numbers and or medical help.
I dont know if this covered house alarms, if you check with the local Garda station the community officer should be able to direct you to the person or group to contact
