hi..i just upgraded to the nokia 5800 touch screen phone.i was just wondering when i surf the net in wifi areas does that cost money on my bill because on my other phones when i used the normal internet my bill was a joke.

What network are you with?
As far as I know wifi hotspots are free to use.. Depends where you are.

You can buy a data bundle e.g. 250MB a month for 7.50 from O2.

im on o2.yea i thought it was free wireless.i wont use it if im getting charged its 2expensive.i presume using it wireless at home is the same as using wifi in d pub etc

If you surf in wifi areas you pay for the wifi of the provider. For example if you go into McD's the wifi is free. If you go to the airport and connect to Eircom network you pay x euro for an hour/day etc. You pay data charges to your phone provider ie o2/voda if you use their data network ie 3G, GPRS etc. In other words if you use wifi it will not go on your phone bill.
