Internet Display settings..

Hi All,

I have just got a new Sony Vaio Laptop and am trying to load software, transfer files etc.. onto it.

I am having a few problems with the display settings for Internet Explorer. I use rte.ie as my homepage but I find not all the page seems to be loading and text is all over the place and different sizes. Graphics are there but not title bars backgrounds etc.. I hope this is making some sense! Another example is this site..The blue background is not visible and I currently have just black text on white.

I have tried changing the text size, layout, resolution, etc.. but it keeps reverting back incorrectly when I visit another webpage. Has anyone any idea what I am doing wrong?

Not really a solution to your IE problem, But have you thought about using Firefox?? A far better browser imo...

Have done a spyware check?
This happen to me once when I got spyware and web sites are all messed up.
