Internet access abroad; options?

I'm going to Spain for 6 weeks in the summer and wondering what the best cost-effective option to obtain internet access on my laptop over there will be. I don't want to use internet cafes, etc. all the time. I want access from my apartment. What are my options?
 
Great holidays, I must join the CS.

If renting, rent an apartment with internet access.

I would think that most other solutions will require a long term contract.
 
Sorry, a colleague of mine uses it but he tells me he has a 'special terminal'....

Unfortunately, it's unpaid leave of absence, Towger! I've already rented the apartment but must check what situ is with internet access, though can't imagine they have it.
