International Bank Transfers (US / Asia etc.)

I'm with Ulster Bank and looking to move.
One of my requirements is to be able to do international bank transfers outside of the EU. I do these frequently enough as I have family outside of Europe and I have a US brokerage account.

I am also with KBC. They don't seem to do transfers outside of the EU (or at least don't make it easy) and they're leaving as well so not a good option.

I was considering EBS but saw this on their international page ("Payments can only be made to countries within the European Economic Area (EEA).")
So that's no use.

Do Credit Union current accounts allow transfers outside of the EU? They don't mention it on their websites so I assume no. (https://www.progressivecu.ie/current-accounts).

Ulster Bank were very handy for international transfers. I'm looking for somebody that is as handy. I'd like to give the business to the credit unions or who would be the next best option?

Have you considered using a service such as CurrencyFair, Wise (formerly TransferWise), XE etc. who specialise in money/currency transfers and often offer much better value on forex margins and charges than the regular banks? There are other threads that go into more detail about such services.

LCC and RIA both have a strong Irish presence too with low fees

Who are LCC?
Googling doesn't clarify.

That's a good point about transferring to personal accounts. The transfer wise / revolut route is fine for transferring to personal recipients.
I can't do it for my broker though. The funds need to come from an account in my name (and they won't accept Revolut).

Who is the broker?
I managed to do transfers to/from a US broker (E*Trade, UBS or Merrill Lynch - can't remember which offhand) via a third party forex handler years ago but admittedly it was hassle at the time convincing them to accept this.
I've been meaning to try it again to see if it's any easier these days but haven't got around to it yet.
