I would like to know if any of you out there were successful in this exam last Sep/Oct. I did it and finished in the top 50 placings. To date they seem to have only called the first 20 odd and have placed only 9 of the 16 successful applicants. I got a letter 2 months ago asking if I was interested in a HEO position in Cahirciveen but apart from that I have'nt heard much more. Surely there must be a lot more HEO vacancies in the country.
 
I was also successful in this competition. I finished in the top 20 and passed the interview. I have been notified of a few locations but nothing that suits me so I am hanging on the panel for another while. It is hard to believe how there are so few HEO vacancies in the country for this panel to fill. I will soon be under pressure to accept a location that does'nt suit me as I dont want the panel to close and me with no promotion.
