At the roofing stage in a new build. Has anyone used an interior designer to help with the electrics, kitchen, bathrooms, stairs etc. I wonder how much this would cost and if its worth it? I am short on time and have a limited budget.

No it's not just a matter of taste! A qualified Interior Designer will have experience of Electrics, lighting, plumbing and be able to advise on all aspects of internal work on the house. There is a big difference between an Interior decorator and an Interior designer and yes many colleges offer courses. So don't underestimate their work.

I have experience in this field and I think it would be worth your while. Getting things right at the beginning could save you a lot of grief in the end.

Agreed, it can be worth doing. Depends on how much you want to spend and how "right" you want it to be.

Agood ided am an interior designer & have clients like yourself
get price for consultation first a bit of advise do the rooms that you
consider the most important first & concentrate on getting those finished.
