Interested in house owned by Pepper Finance

Hi,

There is a vacant house that I am interested in that appears to be vacant for a long time. On purchasing the folio of the property the last entry in 2020 states that Pepper is the owner of the charge with reference back to a Royal Bank of Scotland charge which goes back to 2009.

I assume this means that pepper now own a loan on the property.

Previous to pepper owning the property there is reference to a high court case between the original owner of the property and people appointed receivers.

In this scenario what is the best route to approach pepper with a view to offering to purchase the property. Or is this likely to be met with any response?

Has anyone gone down this route before?

I think you should approach the Receivers.

Though it's unlikely that they would sell it privately. They are much more likely to put it on the open market so no one can accuse them of selling it at undervalue.
