Interest Free Mortgage w EBS

All,

Just wondering if EBS perform interest free mortgages for any period of time - 2/3 years. Currently have a tracker mortgage with them with 330,000 (including top up) outstanding, house value is approx 450,000.

Or would it be better to switch & re-mortgage to another outfit to avail of this mortgage.

I think you may mean interest-only where you pay a reduced repayment to the lender for a period, being only the interest.

As the capital has to be repaid sooner or later and it's cheaper to pay off the capital sooner, you should have a good reason for wanting interest-only. Do you?
 
Apologies guys asleep today - yes I meant interest only mortgage for a short period of time over 1-2 years maximum.

If only mortgages were interest free !
