What are the Insurance Implications of driving a Passenger Jeep with a Bull-Bar or A-Bar in Continental Europe ? If there is an accident and if a pedestrian is injured with the Bull-Bar, could my Insurance refuse to pay ?

I think your best bet would be to call up your insurance and ask them to be sure. Have you declared these bull bars on your insurance?

Bought Jeep with A Bar already on it so I need to be sure it's legal for Continental driving. If not, then I'll probably take it off and sell it.

Its still a modification as its not part of the actual vehicle. You really need to check with your insurance, and mention that its there.

Maybe you should be making sure that it is safe?
If it's securely attached to the vehicle, it's 'safe'. Just don't hit a pedestrian....then again, they do say that a death claim is cheaper than a personal injury one ;)

Just joking, before I get flamed !!

I declared mine, under modifications I think. Nothing said about it / no extra charges.
