Insurance for work experience

Hi
my son is due to go on work experience in a factory Monday, school is closed for mid term, manager rang today to look for cert of insurance from the school which I cant get with them being closed,
Is there anywhere I could buy this type of insurance (just to cover my son in case of accident /injury in the workplace) dont even know what it is called
I just need it for one week, they cant take him in unless I have cert of insurance for theiir HR dept Monday morning

Not possible to buy as a stand alone policy but if you try contact your schools Insurers they will direct you to the broker involved, who should be able to solve your problem. If you don't know which Insurer try Allianz first, if not Ecclesiastical or Travelers.

He might not get into the factory first thing Monday morning, but hopefully it should be sorted for you by the afternoon or at least he'll be there for Tuesday.
