Insurance Cashback on TV purchase

5 years ago I bought a TV from Courts, and also went for their insurance cashback option. Under this you pay them (actually, Regency Warranties) 200 extra which you get back in full after 5 years. If the TV suffers accidental damage during the policy they replace it.
Well the policy is almost up and I'll soon be claiming my 200 back - just wondering if anyone has been through this before and if there's any pitfalls.
The two main ones I know of are (1) ensuring I've got the certificate, and (2) claiming within 30 days of the end of the policy.
Any others? Should I send the claim by registered post?
