Insurance am i resident in IRL or UK!

Strange Question!

I am currently working in the UK and have a flat over here with my other half. At home in Ireland, i have my own house etc with a mortgage. (I head home about 2 a month for the weekend)

I heading for holidays to the states soon and am looking up travel insurance. I am wondering do i get it in Ireland or the UK.

Any ideas?
 

I would imagine that as you spend most of your year in the UK so you are resident there as opposed to Ireland where the house you own is more like a holiday home.
