I have been reading a couple of other webistes about noise insulation and a couple have mentioned heavy density insulation slabs from a place called Wickes in England. I checked and they have no stores over here. Wondering does anyone know any stores here that sell the same type of things?
Thanks

there is a wickes in limerick now..not sure about the slabs tho...i know there are slabs that are very thick and have a sort of foam..but thats just insulated slabs

I assume [broken link removed] is what you are talking about, this is available through any building merchant

What are you trying to do.

capco, lafarge and kingspan all do a noise panel,

however the best one i have seen is by michael mcnally on the greenhills road. His panel is made of laminated cork with a plasterboard face and it has a high sound reduction level. I dont think he has a website but a simple search will find him. i have no affiliation other that have used his products before

I tried searching for Michael McNally but I couldn't find anything. I looked at the link given above and it takes me to a Kingspan insulation board. Looks good but wonder does it have any acoustic properties.
Trying to put something up to soundproof a little.
