Insulation Installation Companies, their Prices and House Areas.

Now that winter is just around the corner (or already here, depending on where you live in Ireland) could someone please post advices in relation to insulation installers?

There seems to be a lot of them out there, and only some appear to be giving good value for money. Could I respectfully request that any responses should follow a certain formula

Area of House

Element to be Insulated

Attic (laid flat aove top-most ceiling)

Roof (follows the line of the roof)

Wall Cavity

Wall Internal

Wall External

Floor

Element to be Insulated External walls and attic

Attic (laid flat aove top-most ceiling) Attic already insulated 18 years ago, topping up with 200m knauf earthwool
attic roll.

Roof (follows the line of the roof)

Wall Cavity 150m pumped with Supernova platinum bead

Wall Internal

Wall External

Floor


Company I used was DAMA Insulation Kilkenny, the pumped walls, insulated attic and did walk way to water tank, insulated water tank, put insulated lid on water, did a very good job and were very tidy. Total cost E1800
