Insulation grants

Thinking of getting the house insulated ,it says grant of 4k for wall insulation what type of money would it cost from my pocket to get the total job done,
also if you want to updete your boiler they give you 560E, can someone who has done similar please give advice on what type of boiler you would have to get,

I've gotten indicative quotes of €11-12K (after deducting the grant). That's for a bog standard 4 bed semi (built '05). However, it depends on your specific situation - and also, there are major variances between the quality of work carried out - particular emphasis here on detailing around windows, doors and soffits. Proceed with caution.

We don't know the first thing about your house so we can't comment on the insulation job.

The boiler you get has to be A-rated, and your controls have to have at least two separate zones (hot water counts as one zone), e.g. My system has 3 zones: upstairs, downstairs and hot water.
