Insulating kitchen roof

Our kitchen roof as no insullation ....we are putting in a new kitchen and reakon we should probably replace the roof??

Its a small area about 5 x 9 (the rest of the room is the breakfast room and has a bedroom overhead so is OK)

Can anyone give me a rough idea how much it would cost to replace this roof and insulate it?

I presume adding velux windows will increase the price a lot ?

(I did look in the key posts but posts seem quite old)

Yes its a flat roof....

Its a 3 bed semi with a very basic garage attached and this kitchen I describe is at the back of the garage(if that makes sense)
