Insulating Draughty Bay Windows

Hi,

I have a semi-detached house with a baywindow in the downstairs living room & master bedroom upstairs. These windows are very badly insulated especially at the right-angle joints. The house is facing North / North West & has been exposed to all the recent storms resulting in severe draughts in the rooms. While the rest of the house can be very warm, these 2 rooms are very difficult & expensive to heat.
I was wondering if anything can be done to seal these windows?

get a gap gun and some http://www.woodiesdiy.com/search.aspx?loc=S&sv=sealant (sealant).
