Can anyone advise if this is a job that can be taken on by a normal person? Trying to save money - need to remove old sink and loo and replace. Thanks.

See here for toilet fitting.

You may find something useful here on refitting a sink.

Google might give some further helpful links.

Woodies shows replacing a pan and cistern [broken link removed].

If you run the search option in this forum you may find previous threads on AAM on the same subjects.

I did it in the ensuite and downstairs loo. A bit of modification had to be done to the waste pipes to get everything to fit.

We were tiling also and the mistake I made was not fitting everything before the tiling as you can't move any pipes after thats done. I had to get flexible piping to get the wastes to fit properly on the sinks but it's all hidden inside cabinets so it's not too bad. If you're just using a pedestal then you should definitely make sure that the waste pipes fit before tiling.

Other than that it's not difficult at all. Bit of patience is all thats required.
