Insert options for Fireplace.

I'm getting a new black fireplace and also an inset stove. I'm a little afraid if a black cast iron insert is also put in that everything will be too black. So I'm just wondering if there are any other options rather than the cast iron insert to go around the stove.

No I like the black inset stove but its the black cast iron insert that ll be in the fireplace im not happy with.

I have the black inset stove and a black cast iron inset and I love it... I suppose it depends on how warm your room feels... I have a lovely bright yellow/butter colour on the walls... wooden floors and a rug also.

Eastbono what colour is your fire surround? Is that black also? My walls are cream coloured.
