Hi...I am trying to install the ink cartridge in the printer (cartridge ,the size of a baby shark!).There is an orange lock on the side with a transparent tape on it that i have pulled out.The orange plastic has failed to separate from the tape but the tape is pulled out about an inch from within the cartridge and the ink is leaking.The cartridge is quite costly.i am wondering ,is it reuined or can that be fixed?
anyone any idea ? help!
 

Im pretty sure you're not supposed to pull any tape off a cartridge. (well maybe you can only on toner cartridges on laser-printers)
 
it is a toner cartridge...the tape had to pulled off,the cartridge though should not be tilted but placed horizontally into the printer(thats where i went wrong).Problem resolved.Thanks!
 
This must be the noisiest printer ever made. I bought mine from a chap who was driven demented by it. Good piece of kit, despite the noise.
