Inherited home query

Hey my mothers home was left to myself and my 2 brothers. I am the executor of the will. And this is pretty much where we stand on what to do with the house issue.
It was our family home and I am desperate to buy it. I am offering current marked value to purchase the home. My brothers are reluctant to sell. They are hoping the market turns around and they get more money for it later on down the line say 5 years time. They would like to rent the house out till then.
I am not very happy to rent and am basically wondering what happens if I ask them to buy me out and they refuse. I don't want to wait 5 years for the house prices to rise and then have them ask me to buy as they would also always like to keep it in the family.
Its very messy unfortunately. And am a bit embarrassed to ask anyone what my rights are.
Thanks in advance.

if they wont agree to sell the house or buy you out i dont think you have any rights.

i cant see anyone compelling them bby law to sell/buy you out. does your mothers estate have much cash ? you could try and take the cash instead and split the house between the 2 bros but that is up to the 2nd executor to agree

I suspect OP is in the US and opinions / advice from an Irish site won't help much, even those that accurately reflect the circumstances and legal obligations.
