It's about a person who is being sued by a bank, who I think is AIB. It was in the paper (Irish Times) in the last few months but I can't seen to find it. Basically the bank lent him money (a million I believe) to buy shares back in the hey-day and he can't pay it back. His defence is that the bank are entitled to the value of the shares today (circa 100k). There was no mention of which way judgement went.
Anyone read it?
