Industry in Athlone

What are the main centers of industry (industrial estates/business parks etc) in Athlone. I think there is a Garycastle Business Park and Athlone Business Park - are there others - For example where is Ericcsson and the Institue of Technology located in Athlone

In the East on the Westmeath side of the town you will find most of the industry. There is Elan, Ericsson, and Tyco among others with sizeable operations on this side. Additionally the IT is located on the eastern approach to the town. The main shopping areas, retail parks and centers are also located almost entirely on the east side of the river.

Elan are actually on the west side of the town. There's also an IDA estate there too and and new business park being built beside the new Athlone Springs Hotel & the Super-Valu.
Pharma-Plaz also appear to be building a big place on the same road.

Athlone is also getting a new shopping centre will be opening in october right in the middle of the town!

and yes, i believe Marks & Spencers are coming to the new shopping centre, yippee
