I am a professional on a very good gross salary. I am married and my wife stays at home to look after our 3 young children. Looking up tax calculator post budget and see that I am 4k worse off after tax than if the two of us were working and earning the same combined gross salary as me. Wondering how much wife would have to earn that we would be calculated as a dual income family. She might have to get something part time as have huge mortgage.
