Hi I have always wanted to visit India but have heard such various reports. Has anyone visited India with an escorted tour staying in good accommodation and eating safely? I am thinking of doing a short trip there and doing the Golden Triangle area only due to time constraints. Any experiences or recommendations etc most welcome thanks
I did india a few years ago no tour we started with the Triangle, (worth doing it for the TM) but wanted to leave after 3 days, then we moved on out of triangle and the rest of india was fantastic, always felt safe.
As a minimum fit this in http://www.samode.com/Jaipur-haveli/boutique-hotel-in-jaipur.html but try to keep away from the tourist trail you will get sick everyone does, we did in a 5 star hotel it was the salad.. Best place to eat where the locals do on the street we never got ill from that
