Indexation Required for PRSA AVC?

Hi All, I am currently in the process of setting up an AVC with Zurich through an execution only broker. During the registration, under the contributions section, it asks if Indexation is required? I am just wondering what this means and if I need to answer yes or no? Apologies if this is a basic question, was just looking around but couldn’t find any answers

I’m looking to invest in the international equity fund under Zurich and I have about 30-40 years left in the public sector before retirement

Presumably it means that Zurich will up your annual contribution each year in line with the CPI or wage inflation. Do you want that or would you like your monthly AVC contribution to remain static ?

Most PRSA providers have an indexation option that allows you to increase your regular contributions in line with inflation each year.

Hi Flybyseat, that makes sense, I am happy to remain static as I expect to update my contributions as my wages increase, thanks for explaining that
