Can anyone recommend a Financial Advising company ( Independent) that has a lot of experience in foreign real estate investment. ( Based in Dublin).

Someone can correct me if Im wrong but I dont think such a company exists. Any financial advisors I know that go through figures with clients are tied to or work with particular companies

I will not mention any names but the uk advertising standards have just upheld a complaint on the 20th august,by a large overseas property company with offices in Dublin and Belfast,for reasons that they gave free independent advice at there exhibitions during adjudication the company involved failed to prove that the companies were unconnected,the ad breached cap 7.1 (truthfullness) rather important i would say, so it pays to be carefull who one is dealing with.

The Advertising Standards Authority is the independent body in the UK set up by the advertising industry to police the rules laid down in the advertising codes.

On a related topic, I havn't heard any advertisements recently for foreign property. For the past number of years you couldn't turn the tv or radio on without hearing someone telling you about their own great great investment opportunity, now there isn't a peep out of them.
