Hi there - I’ve recently bought a little converted horse van in the UK. I’m about to inform the DVLA that I’m exporting it and will keep the V5 to present for VRT here, but it says I need an export document from the DVLA - they no longer provide one. Is proof of date of shipment and invoice, along with the V5 enough? I bought the van 3 months ago, but had to apply for a new V5 and the DVLA were delayed for months so I hope that won’t be an issue - it’s been in the UK all that time, waiting for the new V5 to arrive.
