importing from UK - is it cheaper still?

Just wanted to ask the question, do you think it is still cheaper to import a 2-3 year old car from Uk and pay vrt here?

I currently looking, but starting to see better value on forecourts.

Any thoughts appreciated

It really depends on what you are buying. Euro has weakened against the sterling and then every car has different rates of VRT. You will only know by sitting down and costing it.
How much will you pay in Euro, VRT, set of license plates, and any other costs associated with getting the car - will you be getting flight to UK and boat back, or is it just a return journey to Northern Ireland.
