importing duties

hi all, I know I read a post before somewhere about importing from China, but cannot find it.

We are in the process of sourcing a product/products (fabric) from China for sale in Ireland. I was told about a website to check for import duties/taxes/VAT, but cannot seem to track it down again.

From what I was told there are different rates for different products and heard some horror stories of companies going bust when the revenue came knocking on their door and the correct rate was not paid. We want to cover our bases before we commit to proceeding.
