Imported car warranty

I'm planning to purchase a focus (2006) in england soon. When I bring it back to ireland how does the three year warranty work? If anything happens to the car before the 3 years is up do I have to bring it back to england or am I entitled to get if fixed here?

Warranty is pan european. A local Ford dealer is obliged handle any Ford warranty issues.

Manufcturers warranty applies all over Europe so don't be worried about it. Don't let the local dealers, who are after your money, scare you off.
