Importation of food

I am asking for a friend. Will anybody know what is involve in importing food items on commercial scale from Africa, this will be mainly dry products and no meat involved. I mean where can I get infomation on what and what not to bring, custom and excise view and charges e.t.c Thanks in advance

Contact the Department of Agriculture, I think they're responsible for the regulation of imported foodstuffs.
