Illness benefit to JA/JB?

Hi
Been in receipt of Illness benefit (cert every month) for last three years and just been told I am getting cut off. I have a few questions regarding this :
a) Is it worth appealing, in my eyes I am unfit for work which is why I am claiming illness benefit?
b) Can I switch to JA or JB?
c) Does the fact that I signed on each month count towards my 'stamps'?

I know that JA JB is for people looking for work and unfortunately I will have to take my chances and try to get a job?

Any help appreciated

Did you find out why they are cutting you off? Were you caught working while they had you under suvellience??

There must be a reason for it, have you tried contacting them to find out what the story is or you try appealing the decision.
 
Nothing as exciting as caught working under surveillance. Medical review deemed fit for work even though illness can come at any time and have me bedridden for 2 days!! Really gonna hold a job down there!!

Any info welcome....
 
You can appeal and claim JSA/JSB in the interim. You still need to send in certs but you don't need to look for work.
