Ifsc affordable housing-good value?

Hi All,
The docklands are offering houses at 265000E for 2 bedroom apts in IFSC but I hear that public interest in them is lower than expected? is this not a good discount? I see them on the open market at a good deal highter. The normal affordable housing restrictions do not apply.
any comment v welcome

Hi,

A lot of people are feeling that there are better deals to be made with the builders.

There was an ad on the back of the METRO the other day advertising affordable apts in Belmayne area, We bought the same 2 bed apartment for 195k 2 years ago and they were advertising the same 2 bed apt for 195k now, they dont seem to have reduced the prices.

Anything advertised on the open market is a guide price IMO and many builders are accepting considerably lower offers for new properties.
 
well it could be a good deal but I won't risk it. I will pop down to see are there queues when they go on release!
